    Description

AFRICAN WEDDING MASK POSSIBLY KENYAN, POSSIBLY MAASAI
Handmade Ceremonial Wedding Mask.  Was purchased in Africa back in the mid 1990s.
Mask is hand carved and embellished with metal (possibly tin), sea shells and large cat claws
most likely lion.  Body of the mask is made of stuffed fabrics.  Obviously has some wear and
tear due to age and use. (Please see photos) Measures approx 17.5" long and 11.5" at widest point.
Great piece for any collector of African antiquities.
