Offering a beautiful cast iron Tetsubin dragonfly teapot from Japan.
I am not sure of the age but this item was received by my aunt as a gift and never used. It was stored and the booklet is a bit wrinkled from that.
Included are the cast iron teapot with stainless steel tea strainer, a matching cast iron trivet and a Japanese tea cup. The pot and cup are cleanly enameled on their insides. The tea pot has two large dragonflies on each end.
Teapot measures about 9.5" X 8" and teacup has a 3" mouth diameter.
All pieces are clearly marked with the IWACHI logo.
