    Description

    Japanese Geisha Tea Set. Not sure of the age or brand of this set. Has all the same markings on the bottom of the pieces. Teacups have 590 on bottom edge. There is some paint loss on the handles and some fleabites on the bottom edge of the cups. Measure approx 2 1/4 inches high. Sugar bowl measures approx 5 1/4 inches with lid. Has fleabites on bottom edge of the sugar bowl. Marked 734 on bottom. Creamer is approx 3 1/4 inches high. Marked 734.3 on bottom. Little rough on bottom but no fleabites but the handle was broken and reglued. Teapot has some paint loss on the handle. Measures approx 6 inches high with lid. Marked 734.2 on bottom. Despite the condition issues, the set is very nice. Colors are very bright and has a nice scene with three geishas and a pagoda in the background and a tree with paper lanterns.
