    Description

Japanese Lusterware Tea Set 13 Piece Blue and Peach Vintage 1940s
This is a wonderful hand-painted vintage tea set made in Japan in the 1940’s.
These items are periwinkle blue and peach in color and feature white blossom flowers with black leaves and branches.
Included in this set: 1 teapot with lid, 1 sugar bowl with lid, 5 teacups, 4 saucers, 1 demitasse cup with smaller saucer.
This set is in excellent condition. There are no cracks or chips. There is at least 1 small dark spot on almost every piece, but this is part of the manufacturing. The spots will not come off and looks like they are under the glaze. Please see picture #4 which shows a few of the spots.
Measurements: Teapot (w/lid) - 8-1/8" tall, 7-1/4" wide from handle to spout, Sugar Bowl (w/lid) - 3-7/8" tall, 5" wide, Teacup - 2" tall, 4-3/8" wide, 3-5/8" in diameter, Saucer - 5-1/2" in diameter, Demitasse Cup - 2-3/8" tall, 2-3/4" wide, 2-1/8" in diameter, Small Saucer - 4-1/4" in diameter
Please look at the pictures for a more complete description.
This set was made with a final glaze luster that gives a special effect of iridescence.
If you see white spots on the pictures, that is the glare from the lights.
My items are packaged extremely well - I use lots of bubble wrap and air pillows!
These are preowned items so there is no original box, but I will package them so they will be very safe during shipment.
The shipping will include insurance and a delivery confirmation.
