Japanese Moriage Dragon Tea Set with Visible Geisha in Tea Cups, (Lithophane).
18 Pieces in total.   Condition is "Used".  Very artistic and colorful.
This is a true Japanese "tea" set, unlike sets that feature large coffee style cups. This was my mothers set.
Includes:
Tea Pot with lid
Creamer
Sugar bowl with lid
Rare bud vase
Rare ashtray and no, no one smoked in our house.
Six tea cups with the Geisha Lady visible through the translucent bone china bottoms of each tea cup
Seven saucers
With the exception of one tea cup, (two chips) every piece is free of chips or cracks.
Interestingly, some of the Geisha Lady faces look to the left and some faces look to the right. Not sure if this was a random thing or if it had a special significance to the Japanese when serving their tea.
