Cobras and mummies and sphinxes, oh my!
Here is the famed Hobe (unsigned) Egyptian Revival full parure including pair of clip earrings featuring Bakelite wedge, asp/cobra and Nefertiti, plus big bracelet and incredible necklace. The construction is something else!
Necklace features five stations, three central figures flanked by green Bakelite or red Lucite wedges and asps or cobras around the enameled Moor, Nefertiti and Sphinx, plus two separate stations of Mummies. Necklace is adjustable up to 16 inches long.
Bracelet, with 4 stations, still has its safety chain!
This amazing work of art is 7-1/2+ inches long.
Enameling varies from rich and thick to almost gone. Take a close look at all the pix and you can see much is missing.
You can also purchase this set as separate pieces in my other listings, but buying the entire matching parure saves you a
bundle
. (If someone buys set, separate listings will be ended). There is only one bracelet and one necklace and one pair of earrings = one set. This auction is for all three items.
Note: Someone on eBay is offering the brooch, so you could have the rare grand parure.
Your lobes will never be more noticed, and the bracelet is so major you can use it instead of a weapon. (Kidding.)
As noted, one element has red Lucite instead of green Bakelite wedges.
