Description
The MCS-8M is multi-format compact switcher with a built-in audio mixer and frame synchronizer. This user-friendly switcher has built-in DME wipe patterns, a built-in multi-viewer, one-channel frame memory, an Input Freeze function for each source, the ability to import still images via a USB port, a 3D Mode function, a six-channel audio mixer, AUX MIX and more.
Highlights:
The MCS-8M comes equipped with a built-in multi-viewer, allowing a single monitor to display all input signals in addition to the Program output signal, the Preview output signal, and the Auxiliary output signal(s) via an SDI and/or DVI-I connection.
The MCS-8M offers 4 HD-SDI inputs, 3 HDMI inputs and 1 DVI-I input in HD Mode. In SD mode, 4 SD-SDI inputs, 3 Composite inputs, and 1 DVI-I input are also available.
The MCS-8M offers 4 HD-SDI outputs and 1 DVI-I output in HD Mode. 2 HD-SDI outputs and the DVI-I output are auxiliary outputs. Each AUX output can be assigned to display a video input source, the Program output signal, the Preview output signal, or the multiviewer. In addition, 1 DVI-I output and 1 HD-SDI output are dedicated for displaying the multiviewer signal.
In SD Mode, the MCS-8M offers 4 SD-SDI outputs, 1 Composite output, and 1 DVI-I output. 2 SDI outputs, 1 Composite output and the DVI-I output are used as Auxiliary outputs. Each AUX output can be assigned to display a video input source, the Program output signal, the Preview output signal, or the multiviewer. In addition, 1 DVI-I output and 1 Compsote output are dedicated for displaying the multiviewer signal.
The AUX MIX function allows video from the auxiliary outputs to be transitioned with a FADE effect instead of the traditional video CUT effect.
Built-in 6-channel audio mixer includes audio delay adjustment with an Audio-Video follow feature.
