This hat was in with my father-in-law's things. He traveled all over the world. He usually labeled items, but this was not labeled. It has the form of an African fulani hat, but no leather. It is about 13" in diameter and is about 10" tall. I love the shape of it. It looks like it could be a lamp shade or an outdoor food cover or just a great bit of added texture to a book shelf. He never wore this hat, he only had it on display. I read somewhere that they had summer hats too-maybe those were just straw-no leather?
