Tea for 2! Small Butterfly Teapot with 2 cups and saucers

Lovely tea for 2 teapot and cup/saucer set. I'm not sure if this is meant for adults or children. The cups seem a little big for a childs set measuring 2.5" across and 1.5" deep. saucer is 4" wide and the teapot is about 3.5" to top of lid and 5" spout to handle. Light shines through it so I'm thinking is porcelain or bone china. I have included photos of the bottom and I

but don't know if its Chinese or Japanese or if I have the picture going in the right direction. There is no damage and even has a knotted cord attaching the lid to the handle of the teapot.  I have had tea in
restaurants
in this size cup which is what leads to my confusion. I would love to hear from you if you have any information on this set.

I do check alternate shipping options on heavier items once the item is sold and I have actually packed it.
