Vintage Fisher Price #767 Tiny Ding Dong Elephant Train Engine 1941 VERY RARE

Description

This vintage #767 Tiny Ding Dong was made by Fisher Price.  It is the 4 wheel version made for only one year in 1941
(pre- World War II).  The  other version was made in 1940 only and had 6 wheels.  In the Fisher Price 1931-63 Value
Guide it is rated VERY RARE and DESIRABLE.  In 2000 (already 21 years ago) it was valued in the Employee
Price Guide at over ,000 (depending
on condition).  This is 80 years old and would make a wonderful addition to
any collection!!!
The wooden train engine has a round boiler (no dents) and a wooden cut out elephant engineer with paper lithos.
When pushed, his double-jointed arm pulls a wire cord that rings a bell over the boiler.  Please view all pictures of
this vintage toy for condition.  The white spots on both sides of train boiler are actually "puffs" of smoke and are part
of the litho.  I will leave cleaning to buyer (with it being this old, I do not want to disturb anything so I am leaving the
rust on bell!)  Selling in "as is" condition- the way I bought it.  Measures 11" long, 8 3/4" high and 4 1/4" wide.  Will
be packed very carefully and shipped Priority mail with insurance.  United States only.   We are a smoke free, pet free
