    Description

    This very nice hand-carved Mancala game set is in very good condition.  Both hinged lids feature two giraffes and one elephant.  Inside, there are 30 hand-carved round holes and 2 square holes.  There are only 18 playing pieces, which appear to be seed of some kind.  The box is 12 7/8" long, 3 1/8" wide, and when closed, 1 1/8" tall.  The hinges are still firmly attached to the box.  The box itself makes a beautiful display piece.  The color is actually a little darker and not as red as the photos indicate.  I have no idea as to how old this box is or where it was made.
