Vintage Otagiri Japan Speckled Hand Painted Peacock Tea Pot 4 Tea Cups

A rare, hard to find, used vintage Otagiri Peacocks and Grape Vines design stoneware tea set.
Made in Japan by Otagiri in the 1970’s, with most of the original foil labels in tact. A wonderful design featuring peacocks, grapevines and yellow urns on specked stoneware. Please see photos of these handmade pieces, which naturally include some variation of color and decoration. This set is in v
ery good condition, without damage.
Included is a bamboo-handled teapot, and 4 cups without handles. They are embellished with a striking peacock, grapevine, and urn design in blue, green, and yellow on gray speckled stoneware.
Teapot height measures approximately 5 3/8" to the rim, 6 1/4" to top of lid, and 9 1/2" to top of bamboo handle. The diameter is 4 7/8" without the spout and 7" from end of spout to end of handle.  Each cup measures approximately 2 5/8" high and 2 7/8" in diameter.
NOTE: I have 2 additional cups I will include with your purchase. One was broken in the past, and repaired pretty poorly. Please know these ARE NOT included in the price, but will be shipped with your purchase.
